Stacker crane

The stacker crane system for storing flexographic forms consists of storage racks, cassettes for punching dies, hanging panels (optional) and a stacker crane manipulator.

 

 

 

The stacker crane is a gantry crane manually moved between racks. It has a rigid, steel made structure that ensures stability, operating comfort thus a safety of use. The solution enables a very wide range of operations supported by the originally designed trolley mechanism. The overhead bridge is placed above the racks which allows for a resting position ensuring free maneuvering space between the racks.

 

The ergonomic control panel and tracking cameras provide quick access to all storage levels from
the operator position.
The stacker system is available in a manual or semi-automatic version for cassette-rack positioning. The semi-automatic version’s software may additionally include a module for managing the cutting dies storage.

Lettero cassettes are designed for storing and transporting flat dies. They are made of galvanized steel sheet. They come in four sizes:

Cassettes can also be stored in smaller rack storage systems operated by a forklift equipped with a Lettero adapter and gripper.

A transport trolley is a convenient addition to the system designed to transport cassettes between the rack storage system and a printing machine.

 

 

The lowest level of the rack storage can be equipped with PW15 and PW20 panels dedicated for storing photopolymer materials. The panels have a guide rail that allows for a convenient insertion of photopolymer forms and prevents it from falling out.
